    La Perruche brown sugar cubes are a French speciality made from one hundred percent pure cane sugar, blended with caramelised cane sugar to give the cubes their warm amber colour and rich caramel flavour. Grown on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean and produced using an exclusive process that dates back to 1828, these rough cut cubes are both meltingly soft and delicately crunchy. When dropped into a hot drink the sugar partially dissolves, leaving the last few crystals to be enjoyed straight from the spoon while decorating the rim of the cup. They carry aromatic notes of caramel and Bourbon vanilla, and combine beautifully with espresso, traditional teas and coffee cocktails. The distinctive rough cut shape also makes them a favourite of bartenders for building an old fashioned or muddling into champagne and prosecco cocktails. Presented in the iconic orange parakeet box, this 750g pack is ideal for cafes, restaurants and anyone who wants to bring a touch of gourmet quality to their table.
