    Jeantet Canestrelli are the original chocolate wafer biscuits from Biella in Piedmont, Italy, handmade by Pasticceria Jeantet following a recipe with over 200 years of history. Each canestrello is made of two crisp cocoa wafers sandwiched together with a rich filling of extra bitter chocolate cream, IGP certified Piedmont hazelnuts, almonds, cocoa butter and real vanilla beans. First mentioned in a Napoleonic era manuscript from 1805, these biscuits remain a celebrated specialty of the Biella region and an authentic taste of Italian artisan pastry making. Presented in a 1kg box with the biscuits individually wrapped in pairs, they stay fresh longer and are ideal for cafes hotels gifting and catering where hygienic single serve portions are preferred
